West of Eden –\u00a0<\/strong>Auf der Westseite der Similan Insel Nr. 7 befindet sich der Tauchplatz West Of Eden. Der Tauchplatz wurde erst in den letzten popul\u00e4r, seitdem die Ostseite gesperrt ist. Das Riff “East Of Eden” war einer der beliebtesten Tauchpl\u00e4tze der Similan Inseln<\/a> und musste leider wegen der Korallen bleiche 2007 geschlossen werden.<\/p>\n

Die Westseite ist spektakul\u00e4rer als die Ostseite. Auch hier findet man riesige Granitfelsen die sich von der Oberfl\u00e4che bis auf \u00fcber 40 Meter runter ziehen. Die Felsen sind mit Hart sowie Weichkorallen bewachsen. Hier findet man gro\u00dfe Gorgonien die schon mal auf 3 Meter kommen und das zu hause von allen m\u00f6glichen Riff Bewohnern ist.<\/p>\n

Durch die Vielfalt der Korallen sollte man sich auch etwas Zeit lassen. Es gibt hier Geister Fetzenfische, Clown Anglerfisch und eine Menge niedere Tiere wie Harlekin Garnelen. Auf etwa 27 Meter findet man hier seit Jahren Geister Mur\u00e4nen in blaugelb und schwarzgelb. Im Freiwasser sind auch hier Barrakudas und Makrelen zu beobachten. Fusiliere reflektieren im Sonnenlicht und ab und zu trifft man auch auf den Manta.<\/p>\n

Die Sichtweiten sind auch hier bis zu 30 Meter. Die Str\u00f6mung kann manchmal heftig sein was aber f\u00fcr den Tauchplatz im allgemein kein Problem ist. Sollte es der Fall sein das die Str\u00f6mung zu stark ist, ist man gut beraten nicht zu tief zu gehen da der Weg ins Flachwasser ziemlich anstrengend ist.<\/p>\n
