This old tin mining boat is not a spectacular wreck but is a magnet for all kinds of marine life, big and small. After the Tsunami in 2004 the wreck was ripped in two, meaning there is more to explore, the site does have less visibility being closer to the mainland but the variety of life makes it a fantastic site. Swim around the wreck slowly looking in to all the cracks and crevices, Honey combed moray Eels can be found here which are not seen in the Similan Islands. Banded boxer shrimp, white eyed morays eels. Leopard sharks are often encountered at this site and Whale sharks make the occasional visit to Boonsong Wreck.
