Kata Beach is the smallest of Phuket's three main beaches. Here you will find a secluded bay rich with pure white soft sand. The water here is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. There are reefs on both sides of the bay with an amazing diversity of marine life to be found.

Kata town centre is split into two but is gradually forming as one as there recently has been many restaurants and hotels being built.

There are plenty of Tailors, Opticians, Dive Shops, Thai artefacts, and a multitude of restaurants to be found here.

It is a relatively quiet place to stay with a small selection of bars.
